Dead Faeries

There’s something oddly magical about finding evidence that faeries may have existed once… and deeply unfortunate for the faeries.

In this delightfully strange workshop from the Found & Altered School of Craft for Wayward Adults, you’ll create your own preserved “dead faerie” specimen — a tiny relic somewhere between gothic art, curiosity-cabinet oddity, and fairy tale gone slightly wrong.

Using skeletal forms, delicate wings, aging techniques, and a little artistic mischief, we’ll transform ordinary materials into eerie little creatures that look as though they were discovered in the back room of a forgotten natural history museum.

No experience necessary. Just bring your imagination, a fondness for the wonderfully weird, and perhaps a questionable sense of ethics regarding mythical woodland creatures.

Please bring a light snack to enjoy during our break and be sure to bring plenty of drinking water.

Each workshop requires a minimum of five people. If you have friends you’d like to spend time with, please invite them to join in on the fun.
